Dr David Pendleton

Dr David Pendleton
DPhil, CPsychol, AFBpsS, (Hon) FRCGP

David is one of the founders of Edgecumbe. He has been consulting in occupational psychology for over 20 years since completing his doctorate at Oxford. He works throughout the world with clients in a wide range of organisations. Most of his work is in top team development and leadership development. He is also a specialist in the assessment of business leaders. He is an associate fellow of the Saïd Business School, Oxford where he contributes to their executive education programmes. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in recognition of his early work in the field of doctor patient communication.

Jon Cowell

Jon Cowell MSc

Jon holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Management Development & Organisational Change, both from the University of Bristol. Following a successful consulting career as an occupational psychologist, he was appointed Organisation Development Manager and then Head of Learning & Development for a major UK energy business, from where he joined Edgecumbe in 2008.

His main areas of interest are senior management assessment and development, succession management, employee engagement and organisational change. He has extensive UK and international experience of business integration and reorganisation.

Jo Beale

Dr Jo Beale, PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons)

Jo completed her PhD in Occupational Psychology in 2009. Prior to joining Edgecumbe, she was a Senior Research Associate at Cardiff University where she worked with manufacturing companies to explore the extent to which psychological factors determine the willingness of their employees to adopt discretionary behaviours and a broader, more integrative role within the workplace.

At Edgecumbe Jo has specialised in employee research and engagement as well as assessment of senior people.
